Take a Monster Java, tone down the sugary taste, retain as much caffeine and "energy blend" as scientifically possible in a 6.75 oz. can, add a little nitrous fizz, and you get this. The can is frankly rather beautiful as far as energy drink cans go, and when you open it you get a sudden, giddy explosion (compliments of the nitrous) and some faint wisps come floating out, accompanied by a healthy smell of espresso. I'll admit the drink is smooth, and before I'd even finished the can I was getting a bit wound up. I can appreciate it's stronger, less sweet taste than the other Monster Javas, and I could see it's handiness if somebody wanted a quick kick without having to chug a 16 oz. tall boy. All that said though, the price paid for the little monster makes it hard to rationalize when your efforts could be better spent getting up earlier to make time for the whole 16 oz., or brewing your own pot and flavoring to taste.

These things are delicious enough that you will want to throw away loads of money for it's unique premium flavor, but it can get very expensive. because of the price these are better as a special occasion premium energy drink, but for energy drinkers who havent tried one of these, you're in for a treat..these are easily the best coffee energy drinks on the market, period.

My husband and I are absolutely addicted to the Monster Hammer. I love the rich and creamy taste, one goes down so smooth, I have to have two. A new store was opened right near my house and I had the owner specially order it for me. Well, it took him several weeks of me going and and asking him if they had gotten it in yet for them to actually order it. He told me that I was the only one asking for it. Now that they have it, I have found they can hardly keep it in stock.
Yesterday, I actually went to five different stores to find four Hammers. Two for me and two for my husband. We have four children and a very busy life, just like everyone else, I know. But I can hardly start my day without my Hammer. My mouth just waters in the morning for that yummy energy+coffee! Matter of fact, it's watering right now, but unfortunately, I have had mine for the day and the fridge is bare of the Monster!
The Monster Hammer has such a delicious flavor and with the added nitrous, you get that extra boost you need to get going. We both started out drinking the Monster Java, Loca Moca, and the Lo-Ball. Once we tried the Hammer, the others are out! Only if I can't find a Hammer, I will get another Monster. Monsters have the best coffee drinks and the best energy drinks. I also used to always drink atleast two of the Monster Assaults, but then I switched to the coffee+energy, which led me to the Hammer.
You can't beat the Hammer! Keep it coming Monster!
